Intubation Box Assembly

Kit includes (pictured right):

  • 5 panels.
  • 4 to 5 pins depending on which model.
  • 5 pins are required for Aero|Guard Lite (.125”).  Aero|Guard Gold Standard (.1875”) does not require a top-center pin so only 4 pins are needed.
  • 2 extra pins per box.

 

Directions: Insert tabs into corresponding ports for each panel. Secure panel(s) #3 with pin. Secure panel #5 with pins to complete assembly. Visual step-by-step diagram below.

 

Assembly/Application Notes: 

  • Remove plastic protective coating from BOTH sides of all panels before assembly.
  • Panels #2 and #4 are interchangeable. 
  • Panel #2 with the ventilation port may be installed on either side.

Repeat autoclave use not recommended.

Use

  • Aero|Guard is sold only for professional use by trained health care workers and is not sold or intended for consumer use.
  • Aero|Guard must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected before each use (including before the first use of Aero|Guard). All surfaces and components of Aero|Guard should be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected with a medical cleaning solution before each use in accordance with proper medical device cleaning procedures as recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
  • Aero|Guard should only be used as a protective device for intubation procedures and should not be used for any other purpose.
  • Aero|Guard is intended to be used in connection with appropriate personal protective equipment and other workplace and health precautionary procedures and measures. 
  • Aero|Guard is not an absolute safeguard of health safety. ALWAYS follow proper medical health safety procedures when using Aero|Guard.

Sanitizing

  • Direct application of Ammonia or Ammonia-based products is NOT recommended.
  • Isopropyl Alcohol products work best.
